Dwight Brock, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Collier County issued a statement today in response to a report in the Naples Daily News that a jury scam was uncovered in Collier County.
Dwight stated "the Clerk's Office never telephones the public requesting personal information for any reason, whatsoever." He further advised the citizens of Collier County that "should anyone receive such a call they should immediately notify the Sheriff's Office at (239) 793-9300."
The Clerk is responsible for administering the jury service process in Collier County which includes mailing out the jury summons, processing prospective jurors and answering any questions the public may have related to their jury service.
