Filing a Small Claim is a way to settle a legal dispute with someone when the damages or value of property involved does not exceed $5,000.00. Small Claims court is called the "people's court" and a lawyer is not required.
This seminar will focus on the basic requirements for filing a Small Claim in Collier County in addition to the details of the specific process steps. In the session there will be a review of the various forms and fees associated with ehe administrative process that must be followed in resolving a Small Claims case.
The seminar is designed to be highly interactive with participant questions, case examples and group discussion.
