The Clerk of the Circuit Court Accounting Department has been awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association for FY 2007. The Department has received this prestigious award in each of its five years of eligibility.
Crystal Kinzel, Director, Finance Division for the Clerk, reported that the Accounting Department, headed by Raymond Milum, was rated “outstanding” in six different categories for the first time ever.
The Government Finance Officers Association of Chicago IL, was established in 1906 as a non-profit, professional association serving 16,800 government finance professionals throughout North America. The GFOA awards program is the only national awards program in government budgeting.
