Incentive Plan
Eligible for incentive if less than 2 days of sick leave is used during the calendar year.  Can convert 3 days of sick leave to 2 days pay and 1 day vacation for perfect attendance.

Personal Leave 1 day each 6 months to be used for reasons other than illness.  Must be used during the 6 month period and can not be carried forward.12 months per Employee Handbook
Medical InsuranceChoice between three options, a $300 or $500 deductible or Select option.  Family coverage is also available.  Premium cost for employee (single) and family coverage based on employee salary.  Non-premium discount.  Coverage includes prescription drug plan.1st of month after hire date
Disability InsuranceShort term and long term disability plans for employees which provide 40% of basic earnings are provided at no cost to the employee.  The employee can "purchase" a higher level of coverage (66 2/3%) for one or both plans.  Premium cost based on employee salary. 1st of month after hire date
DentalTwo dental choices, the Basic or Select option.  Basic option pays 50% and Select option 80% of covered charges after deductible is met up to annual maximum amount.  Additional savings if network providers are utilized.  Employee, Employee +1, or Family coverage is available.  1st of month after hire date
Double Life InsurancePolicy equal to approximately two times annual salary and includes accidental death and dismemberment coverage.1st of month after hire date
VisionDiscount plan for the cost of vision exams, eyeglasses or contact lenses for the employee and dependents at no premium cost to the employee.  Must use certain network providers.1st of month after hire date
Flexible BenefitsThe Clerk offers a Flexible Benefit plan that allows certain benefits to be purchased by employees on a pre-tax basis.1st of month after hire date
Intensive Care, Cancer & AccidentThese plans are available on a pre-tax basis and pay cash benefits directly to the participant.  Individual and family plans available.1st of month after hire date
RetirementRetirement is paid 100% by the Clerk through the Florida Retirement System. The two available options are: 1) the Pension Plan provides benefits that are payable at age 62 and 6 years of service, or 2) the Investment Plan contributions are vested after 1 year of service.Immediately
Social SecuritySocial Security Retirement, Disability and Insurance benefits.Immediately
Deferred CompensationTax deferred savings plan available for retirement purposes. Employee pays full cost.Immediately
Credit UnionBanking services including checking, savings and loans per credit union policy.Immediately
Employee AssistanceConfidential counseling and referral service to assist employees and/or members of the immediate family with a wide range of issues such as personal relationships, parenting, stress, etc.Immediately
