The purpose of the Clerk’s Volunteer Program is to provide an opportunity for the citizens of Collier County to learn about the operations of the Clerk’s Office and contribute their skills, knowledge and abilities by volunteering to assist in providing service to the public. | | | | Volunteer Opportunities: | There are a wide range of volunteer opportunities with the Clerk’s Office such as assisting with special projects, participating in the Collections Program as a courtroom liaison, helping with records retention and clerical work.
Volunteers will be asked to provide a description of their background, education, work history, skills, talents, abilities, interests and availability. This information will be utilized to determine a volunteer placement that will be rewarding to the volunteer and meet the business needs of the Clerk’s Office.
All volunteer placements are contingent on a satisfactory background check. | | | | Work Hours: | | Volunteers may work as many or as few hours as they desire; however, a structured schedule must be established before the volunteer begins their job assignment. | | | | Compensation: | | Volunteers will not receive monetary compensation for their work or participate in the Clerk’s benefit programs. | | | | |
